Waterstones has always been one of my favourites. The way the books are displayed and the range is great. I spend many hours there on each visit. As well as that, because I but so many books for my tuition business, I collect lots of stamps on a card for future discounts and points on another card. The staff have always been helpful, cheerful and professional - making my long visits even easier. I look forward to my next...
Great range and selection of books and staff are always happy to help when asked

*Scroll all the way down for the edit* I go here all the time to buy my Dr Who Classic DVDs. They're really nice about it, if you have a complaint about a product - my DVD came with two discs one was on one of those turny things and that was broken, but the actual DVD was fine and to be honest I think it was fault. This is the best Si-Fi shop I've ever been in. However I preferred it when the classic DVDs where on the bottom shelf, so I could sit on the floor and spend hours reading the descriptions of each DVD like I used to, instead of now where I have to ask a staff member/another costomer to get a DVD down for me (Top Shelf!?!?!?). Change it back to the Classic DVDs being on the bottom/second bottom shelf and I'll change my rating to 5-stars! EDIT: BRING BACK THE CLASSIC DOCTOR WHO DVDS!
A brilliant place for all your sci-fi, fantasy and entertainment needs, the staff is helpful and understanding as they are truly passionate about what they do or if they aren't then they are great at pretending. The stock is kept up to date and in large supply so you are unlikely not to find whatever it is that you are looking for. Their stock ranges from graphic novels to scale model props from classic sci-fi television series

Lovely book shop far better than places like Waterstones. Just on the right by the front door are some local history books, mainly crystal palace. You could just browse for ages and always find something to buy. All well displayed too.
A great choice of books and very friendly staff. There is always something on, like events and book clubs. My favourite spot in Crystal Palace!
