Valley Park Leisure Complex, 21 Hesterman Way, Croydon CR0 4YA, UK – 0345 308 4620
Half the ticket price of most other cinemas in South London. Ok the food is expensive, but I guess that's why the tickets are extremely good value. I bring my own food/drink so it's no problem.
I have been attending the Purley branch of Vue cinema for a number of years and I enjoy my experience there every time. A nice and laid back atmosphere. The dim lighting within the cinema gives a mellow feel. As you would imagine like in most cinemas, the snacks are a bit on the pricey side of things but other than that, I like.
Grants Entertainment Centre, 14 High St, Croydon CR0 1GT, UK – 0345 308 4620
While some of the screens are big, and the stadium seating is almost a necessity these days, the VIP seats are a lot more comfortable than the others, but the place has a lot of issues... The escalators had been broken for over a week, meaning a 3 story climb to most of the screens, the "quick tills" either don't work or don't allow you to collect your tickets, there are never enough staff on the tills, and the toilets are just DISGUSTING!!! This place needs more staff and better trained staff, but if you only want to get in, watch, get our, it's fine...
Not a bad cinema, a lot of screens. It's very reasonable too compared to Odean cinemas. Gets very busy during new release films, but they have a decent selection of sweets, food, drinks and alcohol which is decent.

A cosy screen where you can enjoy alternative films.
A quaint and old-fashioned little cinema but they show some good uncommon films.

Very good place

Lovely staff and volunteers, and a great family environment for young people. Great experience for teens who are interested in drama and cheap too.
The best place a person could ever go.

Ambience plus. Ye old world gentleman's pub, is spacious, clean and friendly. Traditional pub food is served on huge plates, and the staff are game for a chat. I felt instantly at home. I recommend the Spread Eagle as a retreat from the hustle and bustle, a good meal, a cool beer. Enjoy the Wi-Fi in a classy atmosphere.
Nice pub in Croydon, used to be a bank year's ago. It's on two floors, and there it's a outside seating area. It's nice inside, and can get busy in the evening. The service it's good but you can get a wait when busy. They serve food which its nice but a bit on the pricey side for what you are having. Service was good. They also film and shows here.
